StarCraft 2 Beta Free with Pre-Order

With StarCraft II Launch approaching, gamers who want can’t wait can join the Beta now. With only a street date set of July 27, no official hard release date has been set. Gamers that do not have access to the Beta can now get access with all pre-orders through retailer GameStop. Banner in the side bar.

For the Beta Access, pre-orders can be purchased through one of the GameStop physical locations. Games purchased this way, will guarantee gamers immediate beta access. For those who have some patience, they can order through the GameStop Website. Pre-ordering online, GameStop offers to send an e-mail with the beta code and instructions on joining within 24 hours of the pre-order being places. (Orders cannot be canceled once the code has been sent out).

The Beta of Starcraft II has been running since February this year. The beta allows players to play any of the three available races as well as a variety of multiplayer match types.

This first installment of the Starcraft II series, Wings of Liberty, will focus on the Human Terran Campaign for single-player mode. Multiple player will be able to play as the Hivelike Zerg and the technologically advanced Protoss factions.
